Privacy policy

What we collect

• Outbound click data: when you click a product link we store the product, the page it was clicked from, an anonymised (hashed) version of your IP address and your browser's user agent. This tells us which picks are useful. The hash cannot be reversed to your IP address by us.
• Newsletter: if you subscribe we store your email address, the confirmation date and the unsubscribe date. Nothing else.
• Contact form: the name, email and message you send us.
• Analytics: aggregated traffic statistics (page views, referrers, country) through Google Analytics.

What we never do

• We never sell, rent or trade your personal data to third parties. This is a hard rule, not a preference.
• We do not build advertising profiles of you.
• We do not ask for payment details - every purchase happens on Amazon, under Amazon's own terms and privacy policy.

Cookies and third parties

We use a session cookie to keep the site working and Google Analytics to measure traffic. When you click through to Amazon, Amazon may set its own cookies and attribute the visit to us; that processing is governed by Amazon's privacy notice.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Unsubscribing from the newsletter is instant and permanent - the link is in every email. Data deletion requests: use the contact form.

Retention

Click data is kept in aggregate for up to 24 months. Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record so we do not email you again by accident. Contact messages are kept for 12 months.
